The House of Da Vinci 3

The House of Da Vinci 3 closes Blue Brain Games' trilogy of Da Vinci-themed escape-puzzle games. Giacomo, apprentice and friend to Leonardo da Vinci, returns for one last journey through Renaissance Italy and the conspiracies surrounding the master inventor. The central mechanic is the Oculus Perpetua, a device that lets Giacomo manipulate the past from the present. Puzzles often require solving them across time — alter an arrangement in the past, return to the present, find the world subtly changed in ways that unlock the next step. The puzzle design carries forward the series' hand-crafted style: complex mechanical contraptions with visible gears, dials, hidden compartments, and concealed mechanisms. The art direction leans into Renaissance ornament — every chest, lock, and instrument is detailed close enough to invite close inspection. Locations span beyond Italy in this entry, and the cast includes fully-voiced historical figures alongside returning characters. Cut scenes carry more weight than the earlier games. Plays as a standalone but rewards completing the trilogy in order — story threads from the previous entries pay off here.

A time bubble traps him there, and you must help him escape through six unique islands, each leading to the next on his quest for a way back home. The Bridge

The Bridge is a logic puzzle game that asks you to reevaluate your preconceptions of physics and perspective. Isaac Newton meets M.C. Escher: manipulate gravity to redefine the ceiling as the floor while venturing through impossible architectures, exploring increasingly difficult worlds each uniquely detailed. 48 thought-provoking puzzles each demand an innovative solution. Gravity manipulation, gravitational vortexes, parallel dimensions, and other mind-bending concepts populate a world where the laws of physics are not what they seem. The hand-drawn black-and-white lithographic art style anchors the visual identity, treating the medium as art rather than puzzle-board scenery. After completing the main 24 puzzles, an alternate version of the game unlocks with challenging alternate versions of each puzzle and a different ending. A time-backtracking system alleviates fear of mistakes, letting you experiment without losing progress every time gravity refuses to cooperate.

Rusty Lake Paradise

Rusty Lake Paradise is the third premium point-and-click adventure from Rusty Lake, the Dutch studio behind the free Cube Escape series, Rusty Lake Hotel and Rusty Lake: Roots. Jakob, the oldest son of the Eilander family, returns to the small remote Paradise Island after his mother's death, and finds that the island appears to be cursed by the ten plagues of Egypt. Each plague has its own chapter, its own visual identity, its own thematically distinct puzzles, and its own escalation of dread. The central play is the studio's familiar brand of inventory-based, observation-heavy point-and-click puzzle design, but the structure imposed by the plagues organises the game in a way the earlier entries didn't quite manage. Some puzzles are environmental, some are family rituals you participate in with relatives who range from grieving to actively unsettling, and the recurring strands of the broader Rusty Lake universe weave through the chapters for players who've followed the series. The presentation is unusually rich for the studio. The pastel background paintings are handmade by Dutch painter Johan Scherft, the atmospheric soundtrack has its own theme song and set of variations for each plague, and many of the puzzles take an extra design beat to fit the specific tone of the plague they belong to. Achievements layer additional secrets across the island for players willing to comb through it after the main story concludes — and given how much of the Rusty Lake universe is told through cross-references between games, that combing usually rewards the effort.

My Brother Rabbit

My Brother Rabbit is a hand-drawn point-and-click adventure built around a soft emotional centre. A loving family discovers that their young daughter has fallen ill, and while her parents handle the harsh practicalities of getting her the treatment she needs, her older brother turns to imagination to help both of them cope. The result is a surreal fantasy filtered through a child's mental architecture — robo-moose, floating baobabs, giant mushrooms, clocks melting to the rhythm of passing time — and a story told in parallel to the real-world events the family is living through. In the imagined world, a cute little rabbit wants to heal his ill friend, a flower, and your role is to help him traverse five distinct lands of make-believe to find a way. The puzzles draw on the conventions of classic point-and-click adventures — inventory combinations, environmental observation, hidden objects, small machinery to assemble — but the logic deliberately doesn't always conform to standard reality, because the world it's set in doesn't either. Several mini-games punctuate the longer puzzle sequences. The presentation carries a lot of the emotional weight. The art is consistent in tone across the five lands, the score is composed by the same musician behind Layers of Fear, Kholat, Husk and Observer, and the song "Dreams" by Emi Evans — known from NieR: Automata and Dark Souls — appears as the emotional centrepiece of the soundtrack. The game runs short, never tells you exactly how to read its symbolism, and trusts the player to recognise what the surreal layer is actually about — a quiet meditation on siblings, illness and the protective power of imagination.

The Silent Age

The Silent Age is a post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure that pairs an unlikely protagonist with a high-stakes premise. Joe is a simple janitor whose job is mostly fluorescent lighting and toilet repairs — until a mysterious time-travel device lands in his hands, given to him by a dying man from the future, and he learns that humanity will be extinct in 40 years unless he can figure out what went wrong. The gameplay alternates between two specific time periods. The groovy present of 1972 — Earth's last good year, full of bell bottoms, lava lamps and easy listening — and the desolate post-apocalyptic future of 2012, where humanity has vanished and the empty world is full of mysteries about what happened. Use the time travel device to switch between them mid-puzzle, gather objects in one era and use them in the other, and solve the puzzles that gate access to the truth. Ten chapters run through unique locations, characters and puzzles. The minimalist art style is bold and stylish, presented in stunning Ultra HD across the Steam version. Immersive character voiceovers and captivating storytelling carry the experience between puzzle moments. A cast of complex characters, each with their own personalities and agendas, appears across both time periods — sometimes the same person decades apart, with everything that implies. For anyone who likes point-and-click adventures with real narrative weight and a tight runtime, The Silent Age delivers exactly the experience the genre promises. Originally a mobile success with over seven million downloads, the Steam version is the most complete version with all the visual and quality-of-life improvements the platform allows. Can a seemingly ordinary Joe rise to the challenge and become the hero humanity needs? You'll have to play to find out.

PANELKI

PANELKI casts you as a utility worker in an endless Siberian city of panel houses, taking jobs from utility services to save up for a ticket that will let you leave for somewhere else. The open world is built from procedurally generated roads, houses, playgrounds, garages, and schools, and the panel houses themselves generate uniquely both outside and inside, with no two ever quite the same. Snow handling is a real mechanic. Dig snowdrifts out of building entrances, clear cars and roofs, or just build a giant snow tower if the mood strikes. Different shovels let you move increasing amounts at once, and dynamic weather paired with a day/night cycle pushes you between blizzards, quiet snowfall, and the cold itself, which gradually freezes you if you stay outside too long. Basements yield useful items like intercom keys, light bulbs, snowman carrots, and flashlights, and you can switch heating on inside them. A cinematic mode pauses the world for screenshots and pays you in-game money for completed-house photos, while online play lets friends clean entrances, swap light bulbs, scrub graffiti, and play snowballs together.

Whateverland

Whateverland is a hand-painted point-and-click adventure with a branching dialogue system, non-linear gameplay, multiple endings and a unique in-game turn-based board game. You play Vincent, a skilled thief who decides to steal a precious necklace from the mansion of a lonely old woman named Beatrice. The plan would have worked perfectly, but Beatrice catches him red-handed and turns out to be an ancient, powerful witch. As punishment, Beatrice banishes him to a parallel world she created to trap her enemies, a place its first inhabitants simply called Whateverland. Vincent teams up with a charming if slightly annoying ghost named Nick, and together they have to find a way out. Each level can be completed in at least two ways: steal from people, or help them. Rich branching dialogues reveal the world and shape your relationships with the Whateverlanders and with Nick. There is no fixed order of chapters; if you ever feel stuck you can drop your current chapter and move to another, then another. The game features 19 mini-games in total, though you cannot complete them all in a single playthrough, ranging from giving a merman a tattoo and making top-notch ramen to cracking a variety of locks on a thief's path. Your actions decide the ending and what people think of you, all set to music recorded with a real sextet and a beautiful hand-drawn art style.

A Tower Full of Cats

A Tower Full of Cats is a hidden-object game built around verticality. You climb a tower of time where each floor depicts a different era of catkind's history — prehistoric eras, medieval courts, the future of feline civilization — and your job at each level is to find every cat hidden in the scene before moving up. More than 1,400 cats wait to be found across the full ascent. Beyond the headline collection, each scene is dense with extra items, jokes, and visual gags rewarding careful eyes. Some cats are obvious; many require pixel-hunting through detailed illustrations that have been drawn specifically to hide felines in places you wouldn't think to look. The adaptive soundtrack shifts as you progress through history, so the audio identity of the prehistoric level differs noticeably from the medieval one and from whatever the developer decided cat civilization sounds like a thousand years from now. The whole thing is short, low-pressure, and tuned for the kind of session where finding the next cat is its own reward.

When The Past Was Around

When The Past Was Around is a short, wordless point-and-click adventure by Indonesian artist Brigitta Rena, set in a surreal world stitched together from disjointed rooms of memory and time. Eda, a girl in her early twenties, has lost her way in pursuing both her dreams and love — that is, until she meets The Owl, a man who helps her ignite her passion, find the spark in a relationship, and ultimately also teach her about heartbreak. The story is told through hand-drawn art rather than written text or spoken dialogue. Every screen is a small composition that you interact with point-and-click style — gathering clues, solving small puzzles, unlocking doors — and each newly unlocked space deepens your understanding of the relationship between Eda and Owl. The bittersweet shape of the narrative isn't hidden; the question the game asks is how you arrive at the end, not whether the end is coming. An atmospheric violin soundtrack carries the emotional weight across the campaign's roughly two-hour runtime, shifting between peaceful and angsty registers as the surreal logic of the dreamscape demands. The puzzles are intriguing without being obstinate, designed to keep you engaged rather than to gatekeep the story. Rena's previous work — A Raven Monologue and She & The Light Bearer — sits in the same emotional register; this game refines what those earlier projects were trying to express.

True Fear Forsaken Souls Part 2

True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 2 is the second chapter in a planned trilogy of horror escape adventures, picking up directly from the first game with significant expansion of scale and ambition. The original was ranked third on GamesRadar's list of best hidden-object games available to play right now, praised for engrossing puzzle gameplay and an impressively scream-worthy atmosphere. Part 2 takes that template and builds outward. The story follows Holly Stonehouse, who has followed the clues from her old family house to the Dark Falls Asylum. As before, someone has been there before her, waiting for her — but this time she's no longer a spectator. The danger is real, the Asylum comes alive at night, and the questions she's been chasing through the first game start surfacing answers she may not have wanted. Was her mother crazy or was there really another sister? Did her mother actually commit suicide? How could Dahlia 'come back' after the fire? And what was the terrifying thing she saw at Heather's house that has followed her ever since? The sequel is longer than the original with roughly twice the puzzles. Players explore a large open world with map-based fast travel between locations, solve more than 40 puzzles, watch over 10 minutes of elaborate cutscenes, accumulate hundreds of diary notes that flesh out the story, find 14 hidden character figurines that retrace key events, and work through 29 Steam achievements. Bonus material is unlockable for completionists, and the graphical upgrade over the original is noticeable throughout.

About Hidden Object

Big Fish.

The House of Da Vinci Down in Bermuda — пастельный hidden-object с поиском предметов на семи изолированных островах. Milo and the Magpies — короткий иллюстрированный поиск пропавшего кота через 30 рисованных вручную сцен. 9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek — каноничный hidden-object-mystery в духе Big Fish: сюжетная адвенчура с серией поисков на сценах преступления.
