About The House of Da Vinci 3
The House of Da Vinci 3 closes Blue Brain Games' trilogy of Da Vinci-themed escape-puzzle games. Giacomo, apprentice and friend to Leonardo da Vinci, returns for one last journey through Renaissance Italy and the conspiracies surrounding the master inventor.
The central mechanic is the Oculus Perpetua, a device that lets Giacomo manipulate the past from the present. Puzzles often require solving them across time — alter an arrangement in the past, return to the present, find the world subtly changed in ways that unlock the next step.
The puzzle design carries forward the series' hand-crafted style: complex mechanical contraptions with visible gears, dials, hidden compartments, and concealed mechanisms. The art direction leans into Renaissance ornament — every chest, lock, and instrument is detailed close enough to invite close inspection.
Locations span beyond Italy in this entry, and the cast includes fully-voiced historical figures alongside returning characters. Cut scenes carry more weight than the earlier games. Plays as a standalone but rewards completing the trilogy in order — story threads from the previous entries pay off here.
