About Virtual Circuit Board
Virtual Circuit Board (VCB) is a sandbox-only logic simulator built on a drawing-based interface. Rather than placing discrete gate objects, you draw colored entities directly: traces, logic gates, registers, memory blocks, with specialized tools like the Array for laying down multiple parallel traces at once. The result feels closer to schematics-on-paper than to the chip-placement metaphor of similar simulators.
The simulation engine is tick-based and high-performance, capable of running circuits at millions of updates per second. An assembly editor lets you define custom instructions and write programs that the simulator assembles into Virtual Memory accessible to your circuits, enabling actual programmable computers built and running inside VCB.
The game ships with no tutorials, levels or challenges. Players need basic understanding of logic gates and digital circuits going in; VCB's philosophy is to provide tools rather than instruction. Decoration layers let you customize the visual appearance of components, drawing buttons, labels and aesthetic flourishes that change based on signal state. Pure sandbox experience for hobbyists building their own goals.
