Tunnet

Tunnet casts you as a robot technician who wakes in an underground complex with a single task: build a computer network connecting the facility's various bunkers. Your supervisor briefs you on the assignment, hands you a state-of-the-art drill, and sets you loose. The more endpoints you connect to the network, the more credits you earn.

The gameplay alternates between network engineering and exploration. The drill lets you dig new tunnels to find additional bunkers and connect them. Network topology design becomes the central technical layer — as endpoints multiply, you have to think carefully about routing packets efficiently and maintaining performance levels. Earned credits unlock new devices to better manage and monitor traffic.

Network incidents occur unpredictably, and debugging mysterious issues becomes part of the regular work. The underground also holds secrets. Creepy monsters haunt some of the bunkers, guarding computers you'll need to access. The whole project is short, first-person, and aimed at the specific audience of players who would actually enjoy spending a session building and optimizing a computer network in a strange facility — which turns out to be a more delighted audience than you'd expect.
