KILL KNIGHT
Enter the Gungeon
Enter the Gungeon — bullet hell
The Knight Witch
Plants vs. Zombies.
Blazing Beaks
Blazing Beaks is a roguelite where being too greedy can prove fatal. Set in a bright, charming world, it sends armed birds blasting through swarms of mutants, monsters and other creepy foes, with secrets to dig up, mysteries to unpick and plenty of levels to roam. Artifacts are the central temptation: picking them up brings real consequences and makes you suffer for the power. Story mode is an explosive adventure of hunting invaders and tracing the origin of evil through procedurally generated levels, playable solo or in local co-op. It splits into Normal, Seeded for repeatable layouts, a fresh Daily run to compete on, and twisted Challenges, with ten playable characters whose unique abilities keep the action varied. Custom character mods can be created, shared and played. Tournament mode turns the game into local multiplayer for two to four players, with formats including last-beak-standing Deathmatch, One Gun where everyone shares a random weapon, Drop Hearts, Skull Keeper and a spear-throwing Hunting mode. Randomized levels and loot mean no two playthroughs line up.
Greedland
Greedland is a roguelike crossed with survivor-like elements, reminiscent of Crimsonland and Vampire Survivors, where your character becomes a mobile arsenal of destruction as each battle progresses. Built in Unreal Engine 5, it leans hard into the violent spectacle of blood and fire, with high visual fidelity and a relentless soundtrack of gunfire. The loop is pure escalation. Hordes of monsters crash down on you and explode into crimson mist with every shot, while missiles rain, cannons roar and lasers paint the sky. Millions of monstrosities span dozens of levels, and retreat is never the answer, since you blast straight through them. When you are surrounded or low on ammo, deployable Titan Mechas stand ready to crush everything in their path, turning bosses and elite foes into minor speed bumps. At the Armory, your firepower evolves: each Power Armor brings unique upgrades, a vast pool of chips and over 300 upgrades supercharge your combat, and you can mix auxiliary equipment for a different experience every run, even synthesizing ultimate gear. An online co-op system supports two players, with four-player co-op in development.
Juicy Realm
Juicy Realm is a twin-stick roguelike shooter set in a world where plants have leapfrogged animals on the evolutionary scale and now rule the food chain. Fruits have grown arms and legs, weaponised themselves, and built an empire. You're one of the first human explorers sent into their territory to push back. The gameplay is room-by-room twin-stick combat against a wildly varied roster of plant enemies — armed bananas, watermelon tanks, pineapple snipers, kingly grape royalty — each with distinct attack patterns. Procedurally arranged zones, treasures, and monsters keep individual runs different. Base camp expansion is the meta-progression layer. Resources gathered in successful runs feed new upgrades, weapon unlocks, and persistent improvements at the home base. Some weapons are deliberately unconventional — guitars, microphones, fishing rods — and the art style leans into hand-drawn detail rather than pixel work. Solo campaign and local multiplayer are both supported. Developed by XD Network and published widely on PC and mobile, the game is light on narrative and heavy on second-by-second combat fluidity. The premise is absurd; the execution is competent.
Crafty Survivors
Crafty Survivors approaches the bullet-heaven roguelite from a different angle: every hero is a crafter. All heroes got corrupted, so you unlock a diverse cast of crafty professionals and use their unique skills to defend your home from monster hordes. Each character offers different gameplay: a Chef cooking or roasting enemies, a Seamstress patching foes together or massacring them with yarn balls, a sculptor choosing wood or marble for statues. Each stage demands unique builds. Select from a variety of upgrades to create distinct synergies for each character on each run, with over 300 skills across the cast. Toggle individual skills between manual and auto casting to mix automation and direct control however you prefer, and find your own crafty way to survive. Gather materials from enemies to upgrade your village between runs, unlocking new characters and additional buffs that compound across playthroughs. A diverse set of biomes with their own challenges roll out through updates, a Food System adds another customization layer, and Smithing and Weaving systems bring 80+ new passive skills.
Neon Chrome
Neon Chrome is a top-down twin-stick shooter from 10tons, the studio behind cult favorite Crimsonland, set inside an arcology — a single massive sci-fi mega-structure where every floor procedurally regenerates between runs. The Overseer at the top of the tower is the goal, and his small army of security guards, lethal assault drones, cyborg soldiers and devastating military robots is what stands in the way. Death sends you back to the start with permanent stat upgrades purchased from your accumulated credits — health, luck, damage, defense, plus over four dozen cybernetic enhancements that range from defensive systems to full-on assault upgrades. The environment is the standout feature. Almost everything can be destroyed with weapons or cybernetic abilities — you can shoot through walls, blow rooms apart entirely, or obliterate whole floor sections while pushing toward the next objective. That destructibility folds back into combat tactics: enemies hiding behind walls aren't safe, but you also can't trust your own cover for long. Before each run you pick from three randomized 'assets' — combinations of class, weapon and ability the game rolls procedurally. A sneaky assassin with mines plays nothing like a robust corp soldier with incendiary grenades, and every asset keeps the permanent improvements you've accumulated stacked on top of its base traits. Local shared-screen co-op supports 2-4 players, a level editor and mod support extend the long tail, and over a dozen weapons plus the perk system mean every run can experiment with a different combination of abilities.

Splatter - Zombiecalypse Now
Splatter - Zombiecalypse Now is a top-down shooter explicitly inspired by Hotline Miami and the Resident Evil series, wrapped in a film-noir singleplayer campaign with full voice acting and animated cutscenes. The game runs a substantial 16-level story mode with fully voiced NPCs, dialogues, side missions, bosses and even vehicle sequences, against a backdrop of zombie and monster hordes flooding an apocalyptic city. The tactical layer comes from light and shadow. Zombies fear light, which means using your flashlight strategically can create breathing space in the middle of difficult fights and expose hidden weaknesses on certain enemies. Combat is also gory and physics-driven — bullets, blades and explosions produce top-of-the-line splatter effects, and the environments are destructible enough to occasionally drop resources from shattered objects. Spend the money you collect upgrading guns and unlocking new weapon features, with new qualities revealed at each level of investment. Beyond the campaign, the game runs arcade-style game modes with online leaderboards and a Survival mode for testing your skill against unending waves. Local multiplayer supports up to four players with mixed input devices — controllers, mice, keyboards, whatever you have available will work. The combination of the noir story mode, destructible environments and the light-and-shadow combat layer distinguishes it from typical zombie shooters of its scope.
Tinertia
Tinertia is an action-platformer set on a dying planet. The protagonist, Weldon, finds himself trapped on this world with no intention of staying. He must climb a vast expanse of ruins and tackle deadly sentient machines to survive, and the path is anything but straight. The unique twin-stick movement removes the jump button entirely. You navigate through rocket-jumping, rapidly building speed as you blast yourself across vertical environments and through 65+ levels. No speed limit. Mastering the fluid rocket-jumping is the entire skill curve, and combat folds naturally into the same gun-driven movement system. Seven epic bosses test your platforming under fire, the journey runs from a planet's molten core to outer space across seven vibrant worlds, and Virtual Reality support on Windows (HTC Vive or Oculus) deepens the spatial sense. Global leaderboards save your best scores with replay support; Gauntlet, Boss Rush, and Speed-Run modes test the upper bounds of your skill.
Space Scavenger
Space Scavenger is an action roguelike about building and commanding your own spaceships. You design, build and pilot unique vessels through mysterious, alien-infested galaxies while scavenging for spaceship parts in a desperate attempt to find what you once called home. The game combines roguelike staples, permadeath and procedurally generated levels, with a streamlined on-the-fly building mechanic. You improve and tweak your ship's fighting capabilities and layout as you progress through increasingly harsh levels, finding weapons and defensive and utility modules with unique capabilities, from slingshots to ion cannons. Watching your ammunition and energy levels keeps you ready for the next battle, and your ability to adapt your ship's layout as you find new parts is what separates survival from certain death. An online daily challenge tests your ingenuity, putting every player on the same starting conditions to chase the best score of the day. You can compare your result with others and study their spaceship designs in the daily challenge lobby.
Rogue Genesia
Rogue: Genesia takes the survivor-roguelite template — Vampire Survivors, Soulstone Survivors — and pushes the on-screen enemy count into the thousands. You play Rog, a wandering protagonist who can wield essentially any weapon, and the gameplay loop is the genre's familiar drift: clear waves, gather XP, draft upgrades from random sets, build something that breaks the game's balance before the boss can break you. The build space is wide. Over 300 passive upgrades and more than 50 weapons combine into builds that range from melee tornado to summoner army to bullet hell from your own side of the fight. 80+ artifacts add powerful unique effects that reshape playstyles entirely. The map gives you choices about which path Rog takes — engage a tough enemy now or rest at the shop and prepare. Different avatars lock different starting playstyles into place. Gun-focused, sword-focused, summon-focused — pick the one that matches your patience for managing chaos. The game's identity is the moment when your build clicks and the screen goes from manageable to incomprehensible, and you watch numbers stack faster than you can read them.
Hatred
Hatred is a violent twin-stick shooter in which you take the role of The Antagonist, fighting against all of humanity. Hatred fills your whole body: you are sick and tired of humanity's worthless existence, and the only thing that matters is your gun and the Armageddon you intend to unleash. You go out for a hunt, clearing the New York outskirts of all humans with cold blood across seven free-roam levels. There are no rules, no compassion and no mercy, and no point in going back. But you will also have to run, think, hide and fight back when armed forces come to take you down, showing them no mercy for daring to stand in your way. The game carries a disturbing atmosphere of mass killing, a horror in which you are the villain. You can gather equipment from the dead to spread destruction further, and only a killing spree will let you die spectacularly. The antagonist's motivations are left mostly unknown beyond an unnatural hatred for the human race.
SYNTHETIK Legion Rising
SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising is a top-down tactical shooter roguelite with combat mechanics that go significantly deeper than the genre usually attempts. The setting is 1985, after the AI servants of Kaida Corporation have formed a Machine Legion to wipe out humanity, and you play the consciousness of a forgotten android prototype awakened to fight back through Kaida Corp's headquarters. Standard roguelite framing — runs are permadeath, mistakes are unforgiving, unlocks carry over. The weapon system is the standout design. Magazines eject manually, active reload mechanics reward precise timing, weapons can jam and overheat if you mismanage them, recoil shifts with movement, and ammo types can be swapped mid-fight to handle different enemy profiles. The game also brings true headshots into the top-down perspective for the first time, which fundamentally changes how shots are valued. Every weapon rewards careful handling, and the combat is built around the satisfaction of mastery rather than spray-and-pray power fantasies. Eight character class specialisations each level up independently and bring their own loadouts, perks and weapon affinities — Riot Guard, Breacher, Sniper, Assassin, Raider, Heavy Gunner, Engineer, Demolisher — with research and class unlocks persisting across deaths. Over 140 gadgets enable wildly different builds: turrets, mind control, plasma blades, orbital lasers, laser mines, pets, and a long list of stranger items. Eleven independently combinable difficulty modifiers let you tune the run risk, and two-player online co-op lets you share perks, items, buffs and loot — or shoot your teammate, if they're getting in your way.
Trifox
Trifox is a colorful, cartoonish twin-stick action-adventure starring a remarkably talented fox, drawing on the heyday of 3D platformers. You pick from three classes, Warrior, Mage and Engineer, or freely mix and match their abilities to build a hero tailored to you. After raiders attack his home and make off with his TV remote, Trifox gives chase to the mysterious looters. The pursuit runs through four danger-filled worlds, using magic, brute force and clever gadgets to outwit enemies on the way to a final confrontation at Villain HQ. The Warrior swings a giant hammer, the Mage commands spells, and the Engineer carries a backpack of gadgets, and nothing stops you from casting spells while firing a Gatling Gun. Coins unlock 30 abilities such as Spike Slam, Shield Bubble and Guided Missile, and the four worlds throw hordes of enemies, platforming hazards, environmental puzzles and big, angry bosses at you, all in a fresh take on the classic platformer spirit.
Alien Swarm Reactive Drop
Minishoot' Adventures
Minishoot' Adventures — это восхитительный микс жанров, который объединяет дух исследования старых частей The Legend of Zelda с адреналиновыми перестрелками twin-stick шутеров.
9th Dawn III
9th Dawn III: Shadow of Erthil is a huge 2D open-world RPG and collectathon dungeon crawler. Asked to investigate ghostly sightings around the lake of Elmson, you trek through the lands of Cedaltia, catch rumors of an untrustworthy king, and become the chosen one bound for Lorwyck Castle to confront him. The journey carries you through ancient fortresses, dark dungeons, perilous swamps, the fields of Ashwick, the snowy regions of Halstom, the forests of Vlak, and the Hollow Mountains of Scorn, at the heart of a foreboding prophecy about a mysterious evil threatening the land. You explore a huge, seamless open world full of crypts, fortresses, and villages. You fight over 270 unique monsters and can recruit them as powerful allies, collect 1,400 uniquely drawn items including more than 300 weapons and 550 pieces of armor, and unlock spells, abilities, and crafting. Extras include fishing, cooking, an original orchestral soundtrack, townsfolk side quests, and Fyued, an original card game with 180 collectible cards.
Patch Quest
Patch Quest is a hybrid the developer describes as cute on the surface and deceptively brutal underneath. The setup looks like a friendly monster-taming game — a top-down jungle labyrinth, googly-eyed creatures, a lasso for your only tool — but the combat is bullet-hell pace and the difficulty is roguelike-honest. The lasso lets you mount every monster in the game, claiming their skills as your own. Over 50 species means over 50 movement and combat verbs to combine — some fly, some swim, some leap across hazards, all hit hard. The patchwork terrain itself shuffles each night under a powerful storm, so the map you learned yesterday isn't the same one you wake up to. Progression unlocks shortcuts and exploration gadgets that permanently expand your traversal options between runs. Two hundred unique plants and minerals make up the resource side, with ammo fruits blended into ammo smoothies for combat. Patchlantis was an ancient civilization before nature reclaimed it; the mystery of why it fell drives the deeper exploration once you've stopped dying on the surface.
About Twin Stick Shooter
RIVE: Wreck, Hack, Die, Retry!
