About Gearbits
Gearbits is a third-person mecha action game where you pilot a giant robot, jet-boost across battlefields, and try not to overheat your thrusters mid-fight. Land-bound machines are easy targets; staying airborne while managing the heat gauge is the central rhythm.
The story campaign runs 20 missions set on a far-future colony world, alternating between swarms of bug-type enemies and rival enemy pilots. Ten unlockable mecha each have different strengths — heavy firepower frames, lighter glass-cannon brawlers, agile harassers — and 30+ weapons cover missile launchers, railguns, beam cannons, and the usual mecha-genre staples.
A wave-survival mode gives you escalating endless waves and a credit economy between rounds to buy weapons and equipment. Loadout combinations are deliberately broken-able, with both build-defining synergies and gimmick loadouts for self-imposed challenges.
A small indie release built for players who want a single-player mecha shooter without live-service hooks. The presentation is closer to PS2-era arcade action than to Armored Core's depth, and the campaign is the main attraction.
