Wars and Warriors Joan of Arc

Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc is a third-person action game set during the Hundred Years' War. The year is 1337. Plague is rampant, English and French claims to the throne are causing nonstop military upheaval, and the player follows Joan of Arc through eight massive battle scenarios that span her real-life military career.

Gameplay alternates personal combat and army command. Combo-based sword swordplay drives the direct engagements, with timing-precision attacks and weapon upgrades earned through the campaign. Outside individual combat, Joan commands legions of troops across formidable strongholds and lavishly detailed cities, ordering formations and unleashing war machines (catapults, trebuchets, battering rams) against enemy castles.

Other great medieval military leaders join Joan's cause as the campaign progresses, each bringing unique abilities. Each map hosts thousands of enemy troops across rolling hills, forests, river valleys and burning fortresses. The 3D presentation is dated by modern standards but captures the scale of medieval mass combat through the era's commercial action-game lens.
