The strategic layer gives you real choices: decide which missions to fight, accumulate and call in any type of reinforcement, and capture train stations or airfields to bring troops in by rail or secure air supremacy for a whole operation. Commanders can be promoted and assigned to units, expanding your edge with over 50 unique skills, while engineers plant TNT charges, linked grenades add damage and flak suppresses infantry.

The Anthology spans every major front, from Moscow and Stalingrad to Tobruk, Iwo Jima and the Philippines, across 68 missions in three campaigns. You command over 250 authentic units and 60 infantry types, from flame tanks to V-2 missiles and railroad guns, fight day and night in full 3D with true line-of-sight and line-of-fire systems, and can build your own scenarios with a versatile map and mod editor, plus multiplayer on a dedicated server.
