About Enigmatis 2 The Mists of Ravenwood

Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood is the second instalment in Artifex Mundi's Enigmatis casual-adventure series, picking up the detective's pursuit of a demonic preacher into the misty depths of Ravenwood Park. The genre is the studio's signature blend of hidden-object scenes, inventory puzzles and atmospheric supernatural mystery, and the sequel commits harder to the horror register than the first game did — abandoned campers covered in enormous claw marks, shadows that don't belong to anyone visible, a forest that seems to be hiding more than it should.

The central detective layer is built around an evidence board. You collect physical clues, photographs and testimony as you explore, then pin them to the board and draw logical connections between them to advance the investigation. Hand-drawn art across fifty-five locations carries most of the atmosphere, with animated details adding small movements to each scene, and the soundtrack leans into a slow-burn dread that the daylight settings would otherwise undercut.

The Steam release bundles the main story with The Redeemed Memories, a full bonus prequel chapter that explores the origins of Ravenwood Park and the friends you'll find trapped there. Thirty collectible butterflies and thirty-six achievements give completionists something to chase beyond the main investigation, and the pacing — short enough to finish in a few sittings, atmospheric enough to want to linger — sits comfortably in the lineage of mid-budget mystery games that Artifex Mundi spent the 2010s perfecting.
