FixFox

FixFox is a wholesome sci-fi adventure starring Vix, a luckless space mechanic stranded on Karamel, a world that has outlawed tools. With her talking toolbox Tin along for the ride, she repairs friendly household machines using whatever improvised objects come to hand: coins, bandages, even glowing bananas.

You roam Karamel on foot, by scooter or in a heavy power loader, uncovering pirate stashes, secret spots and whimsical puzzles, then wind down beside a campfire under the stars to a soundtrack of chiptunes. Sharing a meal with the planet's hospitable robots often turns up the next clue, and helping the locals can mean building and piloting giant mechs.

What begins as a routine beacon repair pulls Vix into tangled stories: an estranged brother searching for a lost sibling, AIs working through old trauma, a feud between two factions. The setting reflects a future where humanity, facing a frozen Earth, spliced animal traits into itself for warmth and hibernation. FixFox was designed, written, drawn and programmed by Jaroslav Meloun, with music by Aleix Ramon and key art by Jana Kilianova.
