About GoreBox

GoreBox is a physics sandbox built around a single signature tool: the Reality Crusher, which lets you spawn, manipulate and destroy any entity in the game on demand. Around that tool sits an extensive armory — weapons, explosives, vehicles — and a shared damage model that applies to you and to the active, physics-based ragdolls in the world equally. Every encounter is the same conversation: you can hurt them, they can hurt you, and the question is who has the better idea.

Gameplay settings are unusually open. Invincibility, noclip, full creator mode access — all of them can be toggled to taste, so the game can be a tightly tuned combat scenario or a no-rules construction kit depending on what you feel like that session. A built-in map editor extends this further: build a custom level, decorate it with whatever textures you want, then upload it through the game's built-in workshop and play levels uploaded by other players.

Character customization runs across skins, armor, hats and masks for the player as well as the GoreDolls (the ragdoll NPCs) themselves. A social layer sits on top — text and voice chat, a wide range of emotes, in-game currency, trading between players, and the standard caveat that dying drops a portion of whatever you're carrying — which means GoreBox runs nearly as well as a roleplay server as it does a destruction sandbox.

Cross-platform play covers mobile and PC, so a friend on a phone can join a session on a desktop and vice versa. The game's stated limit is your imagination, which is usually marketing-speak but here describes a genuinely flexible toolset for whatever combination of chaos, creation, combat and conversation you decide to run with.
