Jets'n'Guns Gold

Jets'n'Guns Gold is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up built for noise and demolition. A campaign of 43 levels pits a single heavily armed spaceship against more than 270 unique enemies, including 16 boss monsters, in a one-against-many fight to save the universe.

The ship is yours to outfit. Seventy different weapons and 20 special upgrade devices combine into hundreds of possible loadouts, so equipping each run becomes its own decision. Every level drops you into a new setting, whether deep space, jungle, undersea or a lava planet, and you can pilot a dozen different vessels, including one horrible boss ship.

The Gold edition expands the original heavily, with comic-style story screens replacing the old text briefings, extra ships, enemies, levels and weapons, and an extended soundtrack from the metal band Machinae Supremacy that runs over an hour. Particle-heavy graphics and movie-grade sound effects pile onto the chaos.
