Journey of Greed

Journey of Greed is a hybrid of social board game and strategy card game played online with three other players. You take the role of a pirate adventurer in the Age of Discovery, heading into lost islands alongside three rival adventurers. As the journey progresses, the rewards grow but so do the dangers, and only the bravest and smartest get out alive with treasure.

The gameplay drives constant difficult choices: continue deeper for more loot or escape with what you have, cooperate with other players or stab them in the back, prepare for incoming danger or gamble on bigger rewards. Strategy choices include sharing less of common loot, taking just a little to avoid suspicion, hit-and-run plays, and going self-provided to avoid dependence.

The online four-player format makes social dynamics the central engagement. Reading other players' intentions, calling bluffs, and coordinating with temporary allies against bigger threats define each round. The full version unlocks unlimited barrel opens (the demo caps at 10), full Ladder mode beyond Rookie tier, and matches the full server population for persistent progression.
