About Mayan Death Robots
Mayan Death Robots reinvents the artillery genre, in the spirit of Worms, by setting it during the peak of the Mayan civilization and dropping in invading alien killing machines. You pick a robot from the roster, enter the arena and try to destroy your opponent's power core, nuking, zapping, imploding and incinerating your way to victory in singleplayer or local multiplayer.
The key twist is that patience is not a virtue here: both players act at the same time, so there is never a wait for your next turn. Whenever you fire a shot, expect the favor returned, which means that even as the rockets fly you already need to plan your next move, choosing whether to relocate to a better vantage point or build defenses to block a killing blow.
You pick from ten lethal robots, each with unique abilities and weapons, while your tribe of tiny Mayas worships you as a god and aids you in battle. A construction gun lets you build defenses or craft vantage points, and when the actual Mayan gods arrive to crash the party, you and your opponent must set aside your rivalry to team up against massive bosses before resuming the carnage. A campaign mode unlocks new robots and scenarios that change how you play.
