Nayuta no Kiseki KAI

Nayuta no Kiseki: KAI is an action-driven RPG that first appeared in Japan in 2012 and now returns as the latest KAI-series release. The Steam release adds reworked, sharper graphics for a more immersive feel, alongside the HD resolution and high-speed Skip Mode added in earlier releases.

Combat is exhilarating co-op action: the protagonist Nayuta strings together attacks with simple controls, while his companion Noi unleashes powerful season-based magic. The pair combine to trigger Gear Craft, useful for striking enemies, getting around, disarming traps and a good deal more, a key to victory.

The adventure runs across four distinct seasons. By touching things in the world, Nayuta can shift the world between the four seasons, changing not just the look of the action stages but also their enemies, terrain and strategies, and unlocking unique seasonal events and hidden scenarios tied to the main story. It all unfolds on an island where rubble falls from the heavens, in a world long said to have an edge beyond which no one can go.
