Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth brings both Ichiban Kasuga (the underdog protagonist of Yakuza: Like a Dragon) and Kazuma Kiryu (the longtime franchise lead, here facing his last days) together in a single dual-protagonist campaign spanning Japan and Hawaii. The Pacific-crossing scope is the largest the series has attempted.

The combat builds on the turn-based party RPG system the franchise switched to in the previous main entry. Dynamic positioning matters — characters move during their attack animations, and the battlefield itself becomes part of the weapon set. Outlandish job classes and customizations let you strategically subdue enemies with the kind of over-the-top moves the series has been known for since its action-game days.

The side content remains enormous. Each city carries its own unique mix of quests, activities, and minigames — karaoke, baseball, the Sujimon collection system (essentially Pokémon with thugs), the new Dondoko Island resort-building minigame, and many more.
