Like a Dragon Ishin!

Like a Dragon: Ishin! has you take up the dress and weapons of the elite and step into the role of the legendary samurai Sakamoto Ryoma. It remakes a title from 2014 that never left Japan, recasting the Like a Dragon series into a period setting, the Bakumatsu years of the mid-1800s.

In the Kyo of the 1860s, sweeping inequality runs unchecked, and a single samurai is about to bend history while seeking justice. With Ryoma's blade in hand, you head for Kyoto to track down the man who killed your father, shake off a murder you were framed for and win back your honor, and along the way you close the book on the age of the samurai and change where Japan is headed.

Combat blends swordplay, gunfighting and hand-to-hand brawling, with main story missions alongside plenty of side activities, minigames and historical takes on series staples. Fans will recognize the protagonist as Kazuma Kiryu cast in a new role, joined by other familiar faces as friends and foes, a fiery period adventure that could only come from the studio behind Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
