The Music Machine

The Music Machine is a short, atmospheric horror game about a complicated pair. Haley is an eccentric 13-year-old girl; Quintin is her old friend, now a ghost, who is puppeting her body in search of a satisfactory way to kill her. That dubious quest leads them to a mysterious abandoned island where several people were recently murdered, and where a strange new building hides a bizarre secret.

The game blends non-linear exploration, puzzle solving and narrative, and its horror is built on atmosphere and story rather than jumpscares or chase scenes. A monochromatic visual style deepens the sense of mystery and unease, backed by an atmospheric original soundtrack.

It is a deliberately compact experience, a short but satisfying narrative that can be completed in a single sitting.
