Forgive Me Father

Forgive Me Father is a dark retro horror first-person shooter set in a comic-book-style world inspired by the novels of H.P. Lovecraft. As the only one left with full senses, you begin a journey in search of answers and relief, surrounded by the occult and forces of eternal evil.

It feels like a classic 90s FPS, with first aid kits and life points, non-reloading weapons, powerups, and dynamic combat against numerous opponents, mixing timelapse animations and 2D elements in a 3D environment. A dynamic madness level shifts during play, granting additional power, and you choose active skills to suit your style while deciding how your weapons, powered by an unknown substance, evolve.

You explore a hand-made, Lovecraft-inspired world full of hidden and hard-to-reach areas, uncovering the story to solve the mystery of this crazy place. Hand-drawn graphics keep a distinctive comic-book look where any screenshot could be a comic panel, and you can experience the tale from the perspective of either a priest or a journalist, each with a unique development tree.
