Witch It

Witch It is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game set in a vibrant, magical world where the rules are simple but the depth is significant. Hunters are tasked with seeking hidden witches that have cursed their villages, while witches can mimic any physical object in the landscape to fool the hunters and survive. Trust no furnishing, no grocery item, no kitchen utensil — that book on the shelf may not be a book.

The map design supports both halves of the game. Humble villages, exotic islands and peculiar forests brimming with secrets and surprises give witches countless hiding spots and hunters varied environments to search. Each map contains a variety of prop arrangements, keeping matches feeling unique and exciting across many sessions. Hunters mix and match tools and abilities to help detect, trap or slow down witches while traversing the map efficiently. Witches use spells to fly, disorientate hunters or distract them when discovered.

Four distinct game modes cover different competitive shapes. Hide and Seek is the standard Witch It experience. Mobification has faster-paced gameplay where eliminated witches join the hunter team. Hunt a Hag disables all skills and projectiles for a one-way game of tag. Fill a Pot is a competitive 2v2 mode where witches fill cauldrons with specific props before time runs out. 15+ official maps, hundreds of cosmetics, a creative mode for collaborative map building, and Steam Workshop integration for community-uploaded content give the game an enormous content footprint.
