RoboCo

RoboCo is a sandbox built around inventing robots to wait on the squishy, hapless humans of a near-future world. You can build any machine you imagine in a free creative mode or take on a set of distinct challenges.

Robots come together from a wide variety of snap-fit parts: you hook up controls, customize how each machine moves and operates, and finish it off with playful extras such as hats and googly eyes. The open-ended challenges put your engineering to the test with tasks like ferrying sandwiches to hungry diners, setting up a romantic dinner or showing off robot dance moves.

If controllers are not your thing, the approachable Python language can automate your creations so they clear challenges on their own while you relax. Steam's community workshop lets you share your builds or download other inventors' robots to study, remix and draw inspiration from.
