Street Fighter 6

Street Fighter 6 represents Capcom's next-generation evolution of the series, launching June 2023 on RE Engine. The package spans three distinct modes: Fighting Ground (the traditional versus and arcade play), World Tour (an open-world single-player story), and Battle Hub (a social space where players gather around virtual arcade cabinets).

The roster launches with 18 fighters including Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie and Kimberly, each redesigned with striking new looks and cinematic specials. Three control types accommodate different skill levels: Classic (traditional inputs), Modern (simplified one-button specials), and Dynamic (auto-combo for accessibility). A new Real Time Commentary feature delivers competitive-broadcast hype alongside understandable analysis of player gameplay.

The Drive Gauge is the central new system. It pools resources for offensive and defensive tools (Drive Impact, Drive Parry, Drive Rush, Drive Reversal, Overdrive specials), and managing it determines whether you're aggressive, defensive or out of options. World Tour follows your avatar exploring Metro City under various Masters who teach their fighting styles. Battle Hub uses the same avatar to challenge real players at cabinets and visit a Game Center with classic Capcom arcade titles.
