About 12 Labours of Hercules II The Cretan Bull
12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull is the second entry in JetDogs' long-running casual time-management series adapting the labours of Greek mythology. The hook of the line is dropping the typical hidden-object cosy genre into a real-time strategy framework — gather wood, repair roads, build shrines, all on a tight per-level timer.
The villain of the piece is Hera, who has driven the Cretan Bull mad. The bull is rampaging across the countryside ruining roads and buildings, and Hercules has to chase it down across the campaign's levels while you keep his resource economy fed.
The gameplay loop is short, gold-medal chase per level: place tasks in order, mind the bottlenecks, and complete each map under the par time for the highest rating. Hidden side quests, Wonders that take long resource accumulations to build, and unlockable bonus levels extend the post-campaign content.
Presented in cartoon-style HD with comic-book cutscenes. The series is comfortably one of the most accessible entry points in casual strategy — the kind of game that runs on almost any laptop and works well for short sessions.
