ARCADE GAME SERIES DIG DUG

Originally an arcade hit from 1982, Dig Dug arrives on Steam in its classic form. You burrow through the earth in four directions, carving tunnels as you go, and clear each stage by defeating every enemy on screen to advance.

Enemies fall to your harpoon, pump them full of air until they pop, or to a well-placed rock dropped from above. Luring several foes into a single tunnel and crushing them together is the route to big scores, and a handful of techniques like the rock drop and the pump-and-stall come from just four directions and one button.

This port keeps the cute pixel art, vivid colors and distinctive sound effects intact, and adds scanline and audio settings plus a toggle between the original and updated builds, so devoted diggers can play it exactly how they want.
