Archaica The Path of Light

Archaica: The Path of Light is an atmospheric puzzle game centered on lasers and mirrors. The mystical and ancient setting casts you as the Light Bearer, sent on a quest to walk the legendary Path of Light and save the world from impending disaster. The journey revives mysterious artifacts, explores secrets of an alien civilization and reveals the true destiny of the Path through extraordinary realms.

The gameplay is laser routing through three-dimensional puzzle boards. Mirrors, prisms, color filters and other reflective elements have to be positioned correctly to channel light from sources to targets. The studio prototyped hundreds of puzzles and selected only a few for the final game, ensuring each one is unique and based on a separate idea rather than recycled mechanics.

A strong aesthetic identity carries the experience. Every location has its own atmosphere, encouraging further exploration as you progress deeper. The narrative is optional and unfolds through hieroglyphs scattered on boards. Players interested in the story can excerpt themes piece by piece across the campaign, with some thematic content only unlocked by completing particularly challenging levels.
