Astronarch

Astronarch combines roguelikes and auto-battlers in a way the genre has not quite seen before. You recruit a party of mysterious heroes, navigate dangerous lands, gather an arsenal of magical items and set out to defeat a new evil threatening the realm.

Strategy revolves around the party. You draw heroes from a pool of distinct characters whose skills inspire wildly different builds, and where you position them on the battlefield directly shapes how a fight resolves. Loot is central too: ancient and magical items augment stats and abilities, letting you decide whether your Wildmage becomes a glass cannon or a front-line bruiser.

Each playthrough reshapes the journey, changing your path and the bosses you face. Three acts each hold three subareas you move between freely, rewarding players who learn where their party thrives and where it falters. After a first victory, heroes grow cosmetic auras as they conquer 20 additional Corruption modifiers. The game packs 21 unlockable heroes, over 130 items, more than 100 combat encounters with 11 elites and 12 bosses, and 30-plus map events.
