Boxing School

Boxing School puts you in charge of a boxing gym in the 1980s, working as a manager who hires fighters, trains them and climbs the ranks. It comes from the developers of Gladiator School.

Much of the game is about shaping your boxers. Each one has unique skills and a fighting style, and you decide what to teach: relentless swarmer aggression, a slower style built on punching power, or a patient counter-attacker who preys on an opponent's mistakes. Scouting the world for hidden gems through a potential rating system pays off when you turn up a future champion who hits like a truck, and you can customize each fighter's outfit, nickname and branding.

In the ring, you coach from the corner and adjust tactics between rounds, choosing whether to push for an early knockout and risk running out of gas, or play it safe and wait for the opponent to tire. Around the fights you arrange bouts and promotional events, sign sponsorship deals, hire training staff of varying expertise, buy and upgrade gym equipment, and level up as a manager toward the right to challenge the champion for the belt.
