Camp Sunshine

Camp Sunshine is a 16-bit blood-soaked horror RPG. You play Jez, dropped off at Summer Camp like any other kid. He wakes in the middle of the night to discover blood everywhere, a rampaging killer on the loose in a mascot costume, and himself trapped in a deadly cat-and-mouse game across the camp grounds.

The gameplay loop is pure slasher-film tension. Two hits and the Serial Slasher kills you. A torch keeps the dark at bay, but its batteries run down, so light becomes a managed resource. Unique lighting mechanics drive the atmosphere, beautiful hand-drawn 16-bit graphics carry the visuals, and the killer can be anywhere on the grid at any time.

Diary pages scattered around the camp reveal the history of Isaac Illerman and let you piece together the past of the Summer Camp Slasher to stop the night of terror. Devious puzzles tax your brain, scares and nods to famous slasher franchises pile up, and a story-driven narrative gives the gore something to hang on.
