Chinatris

Chinatris is a Tetris-like puzzle game built around Chinese characters. Instead of dropping plain blocks, you combine falling character components to form new characters, and clearing each stage means assembling its specific targets.

Along the way you meet many surprising characters that open a different window onto Chinese culture, and the game keeps learning painless: once you form a character, its pronunciation appears, so unfamiliar readings are never a barrier.
