Chromosome Evil 2

Chromosome Evil 2 is a Lovecraft-inspired real-time strategy survival game. An ancient evil has returned to Earth and unleashed a deadly flesh organism on humanity, toppling governments and infrastructure one by one. In the aftermath, you are part of what remains of the army, charged with ensuring the survival of the human species.

The game splits into two layers. In combat, you take real-time control of a strike team, choosing the optimal equipment and tactical approach to fulfill objectives and bring everyone back safely, with a turn-based option available through an active pause command. Outside combat, you command a military convoy, deciding your team's equipment, assigning personnel to survival tasks, crafting better gear, researching technologies, choosing the convoy's route, managing resource priorities and training your people.

The campaign runs across four chapters, from an introduction to the lore through assembling your convoy and into an open world, ending with multiple endings and two distinct paths. The game folder also includes a map editor.
