Clockwork Tales Of Glass and Ink

Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink is a steampunk adventure game built around a detective drama with unexpectedly action-flavored set pieces. Strange earthquakes are causing the world's cities to crumble to ruin, and Dr. Ambrose Ink — one of the leading minds of the technological revolution — believes he's identified the underlying supernatural cause. His investigation leads him to Hochwald, a mountain town near the mysterious Barber family castle, where he promptly disappears.

Agent Evangeline Glass — Dr. Ink's longtime friend and confidante — takes up the case. Armed primarily with intelligence and accompanied by Matthew, a mechanical raven sidekick, she must storm the well-secured castle, face the General Engineer of Gottland, and figure out what's happening to the cities of the world. The campaign progresses to include action elements that distinguish the game from typical hidden-object adventures: flying on a hang-glider, impersonating a soldier to slip past guards, defeating mechanical creatures in combat sequences.

The game runs 31 hand-drawn locations (38 in the Collector's Edition) packed with hidden-object scenes, with the rich steampunk setting providing distinct visual texture across every screen. A bonus prequel adventure — 'Ink's Story' — adds an additional storyline showing the protagonist's perspective as he sneaks into Hochwald Castle alongside Matthew, before the events of the main game. Thirty-plus hidden steambugs scattered through the world, nine achievements, concept art, wallpapers and a stunning soundtrack round out the package.
