Cogs

Cogs is a puzzle game where players build machines from sliding tiles. 50 levels and 3 gameplay modes structure the experience, with new puzzles unlocked by building contraptions quickly and efficiently.

Inventor Mode starts with simple puzzles and introduces the widgets used to build machines: gears, pipes, balloons, chimes, hammers, wheels, props, and more. Time Challenge Mode unlocks any puzzle you complete in Inventor Mode, demanding fewer moves to reach a solution with only 30 seconds to find it. Move Challenge Mode flips the constraint: every click counts when you only get ten moves to find a solution.

The sliding-tile-puzzle backbone has been remixed into mechanical contraption design where each completed arrangement assembles into a working machine. The pacing of the three modes encourages first exploration, then speed, then efficiency, each gating new puzzles behind cleaner solutions.
