About Cricket 19
Cricket 19 is Big Ant Studios' authentic global cricket simulator, supporting every standard format of the sport — T20, One Day International and the multi-day Test Match — at every level from club cricket all the way up to international fixtures. The career mode is the long-tail hook: you build a rookie player from junior club cricket up through the ranks, with the path to international selection earned rather than handed out.
The game's deep authoring tools are what give it its unusual longevity. The Cricket Academy lets you create your own players, stadia, sponsor logos and uniforms from scratch and share them — meaning the community has effectively rebuilt entire leagues, recreated real-world teams under different licensing situations, and produced detailed mock-ups of cricket grounds you can play at. Dozens of teams ship with the base game across multiple formats.
Underneath the creator tools, the simulation focuses on real-world AI behavior — fielders read shots, bowlers shift line and length based on match situation, captains adjust tactics — which is what separates the game from arcade cricket titles. It's pitched squarely at cricket fans rather than newcomers, and rewards the kind of patient strategic thinking the longer formats reward in real life.
