New Star Manager is the work of Simon Read, who created the BAFTA-winning New Star Soccer series. You take charge of New Star FC, a struggling club that needs your management instincts to unlock its potential and rise as far as the game allows. This is football management that asks you to be far more than a player: you become the brains, the drive and the spine of the club.

Total club control means owning every aspect of the side: building facilities, setting training regimes, choosing sponsors and hiring or firing backroom staff. On the pitch, every player on the roster helps you build and finish goals, using innovative mouse-based controls, building a squad, picking a formation, making tactical substitutions and even delivering a half-time team talk in the locker room.

Off the pitch there is drama to manage too: volatile players with concerns and outbursts, a demanding board, a hostile press and fans who need to keep believing, all while you watch the club's finances. The world's biggest leagues and cup competitions are realistically simulated, in the latest entry of a series already played by more than 30 million people.
