Cyanotype Daydream -The Girl Who Dreamed the World-

Cyanotype Daydream is a visual novel that uses the form to tell its story in an unusual way, a tale of longing, hope, despair, and, above all, love. Kaito wakes in a strange room with no memory of who he is, with only a quiet white-haired girl named Yonagi and their overseer, Izumo, nearby. As three separate stories unfold around him, he begins to grasp the truth of this world and his own place in it.

The first story follows Arishima Kaoru, a weary adjunct professor who picks up his pen again after discovering that a student is the daughter of the writer he once admired. The second sets a young, perfect-memoried William Shakespeare against the Elizabethan ban on women acting, with his fate landing in the hands of the fiery Olivia Berry. The third sends college dropout Amei Kanna and two companions on a summer hunt for a place his late mother once drew, beneath the streak of Halley's comet.

After each of these stories of star-crossed couples reaches its bittersweet end, the threads draw together into one final story where the truth behind everything is revealed. The visual novel has already moved the hearts of thousands of Japanese players.
