About Deus Ex Human Revolution
Human Revolution sets up the world of the original Deus Ex by going back a quarter-century, to the moment when mechanical augmentation has split society between people who can afford to upgrade their bodies and people who can't. Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT security chief at Sarif Industries, gets his augmentations the hard way after a black ops squad attacks his company and kills the scientists he was hired to protect.
The Director's Cut folds in The Missing Link DLC as a seamless chapter of the main campaign, rebuilds the original game's much-criticized boss encounters to support stealth and non-lethal play, and adds developer commentary triggered by markers throughout the levels. A New Game Plus carries over your augmentations.
The Eidos Montréal design treats every objective as a system with multiple solutions: hack the door, find the vent, talk your way past the guard, or shoot the room. The hub cities of Detroit and Hengsha give the conspiracy plot room to breathe, and the choice of who you trust — Sarif, Taggart, Darrow — pays off in the multiple endings at Panchaea.
