Farming Simulator 2011

Farming Simulator 2011 is the third mainline entry in Giants Software's long-running agriculture series. You start with a small selection of vehicles on a 4 km farm and slowly expand by completing harvesting and livestock tasks: ploughing, seeding, baling, milking, breeding, spreading manure.

The vehicle roster carries authentic licences from DEUTZ-FAHR, KRONE, HORSCH, PÖTTINGER, and VOGEL & NOOT — tractors, combine harvesters, plows, seeders, balers. For its release year this was a notable jump in machinery licensing for the series, and the brand-faithful equipment is part of why the line built a serious fanbase.

Career mode handles the management side: budgets, business expansion, cattle herd growth, equipment investment. AI-controlled helpers can be hired to handle routine fieldwork while you focus elsewhere.

Multiplayer over LAN or Internet lets you run a farm cooperatively with friends. Gamepad and steering wheel input are both supported. By later-series standards the simulation is light, but for a Farming Simulator veteran this entry is the bridge between the early indie phase and the modern, sprawling franchise that followed.
