About Atlantic Fleet
Atlantic Fleet is a turn-based game of tactical and strategic naval combat. It puts you in command of either the Allies or the Kriegsmarine in the Battle of the Atlantic, the longest military campaign of World War II, fighting for control of the Atlantic shipping lanes.
You command surface ships, submarines, and carrier and land-based aircraft, protecting convoys as the Allies or going on the offensive with German submarine wolf packs and surface raiders. Ships sink through realistic buoyancy physics rather than hit-point bars, and you can target specific subsystems to cripple the enemy, with up to 10 versus 10 ships in combat.
The game offers three modes: a Single Battle editor with 30 historical missions, campaigns of 50 missions per faction, and a full Dynamic Campaign from 1939 to 1945 with limited resources, historical units, actual convoy routes, and real-world weather. It features 62 historical ship classes representing over 630 ships and 450 submarines, plus 13 aircraft, with one price and no in-game purchases.
