FISHERY

FISHERY is a stylized aquarium simulation and management game. You lean on your own creativity to design and tend gorgeous aquatic habitats, then sit back and watch the fish settle happily into the home you built.

Nearly every fish and plant is modeled on a real-life counterpart, and although the art style is highly stylized, the aim is for every species to stay recognizable to anyone familiar with the hobby. Many species show dimorphism, with male and female fish differing in body shape and color, and the game takes care to reflect even subtle differences. Aquariums are not only for fish, either, you can populate ecosystems with crawling creatures like shrimp.

Each tank can carry its own story: shape dramatic rocky terrain, dense underwater jungle, or even the corroding hulk of a machine wreck. Lighting tools, easy to use yet capable, set a mood of mystery, wonder or plain fun, the substrate can be sculpted into dramatic terrain, and backdrops help bring your vision to life. You will know your fish are content with their habitat, because they will have plenty of babies.
