About Full Metal Furies

Full Metal Furies is Cellar Door Games' follow-up to Rogue Legacy, built around a single design priority: genuine cooperative gameplay where each player has a role only they can fulfill. The team mechanic is structural — enemies arrive on the battlefield with colored barriers, and only allies of matching colors can shatter them. Coordination isn't optional, it's the entire combat layer.

Four playable classes each handle a different facet of the battlefield. Alex the Friendly Fighter engages up close with counters and combos. Meg the Near-sighted Sniper plants mines, shoots from afar and juggles enemies airborne. Triss the Boxy Tank uses her shield to save allies and sends enemies flying. Erin the Ovally Engineer controls the battlefield with deployed turrets — and also has a gun. Each class has its own skill tree with abilities that change playstyle rather than just bumping numbers.

The game scales cleanly from solo to four-player. The Pick-2 system in single-player lets you choose two characters and quick-switch between them, retaining all the nuances of multi-character play without the partners. 1-4 player co-op runs both online and offline locally, in any variation including full couch and full online and every combination between. Everything is shared — gold, health drops, last hits — so the design never devolves into competition for scraps. Over 70 different enemies with unique tells and counters, massive multi-phasic Titan boss matches, a story spanning over 20,000 words in 8 languages, and the studio's signature density of one-liners give the game a long-running personality.
