Myst: Masterpiece Edition, released in 2000, comes about as close to the original 1993 experience as possible without a CD-ROM drive. It keeps the original point-and-click style while upgrading the game with 24-bit color, a remastered score and enhanced sound effects, a way into one of the best-selling games of all time.
