Pathologic Classic

Pathologic Classic HD is the definitive edition of Ice-Pick Lodge's original cult-classic psychological first-person survival game. The setting is a weird town crouched ominously in the far reaches of an ancient steppe, once a small drover settlement around a monstrous abattoir, transformed over generations into something else. A sudden outbreak of an unknown lethal disease has decimated the citizens; neither prayer nor science has helped.

Three outsiders enter the town: a ruthless investigator assigned by authorities, a far-sighted Ripper surgeon chasing his father's terrible heritage, and an eccentric girl rumored to have mystic healing abilities. Each carries 70+ hours of real-time gameplay across 12 days, with interconnected storylines, separate quests, dialogues, and subplots that examine an ideological conflict more than a simple cure.

The HD edition delivers a brand-new in-house English script and re-recorded voice-overs, restoring text previously cut from international versions, with updated textures, higher resolution support, and new visual effects. Fan-made Polish translation by Jakub and Aldona Derdziak and an Italian translation from the original translators are included. Surviving is brutal: hunger, immunity, and limited supplies force constant difficult choices, and there are no jump scares or simple solutions on offer.
