Peggle Nights is PopCap's first sequel to Peggle, set after hours at the Peggle Institute with the original cast of Peggle Masters now exploring dreamtime alter egos. The core mechanic is unchanged — aim, shoot, clear all the orange pegs to complete a level, and bask in the absurdly satisfying Extreme Fever finisher when you knock out the last one — but the campaign is built around an entirely new sixty-level adventure.
A new Peggle Master joins the existing roster and brings a new Magic Power into the mix, broadening the set of strategic options available across the campaign. The level designs lean into the night setting visually, while the underlying physics — the gentle pachinko-like cascade of the ball ricocheting through the pegs, the orchestral crescendo as the last orange peg lines up for a bank shot — stay faithful to what made the original work.
Beyond the main adventure, Peggle Nights bundles sixty challenge stages that test your skills against bespoke configurations, an unlockable Duel mode for head-to-head matches against the computer or against friends, and a Quick Play option for casual rounds. A trophy room collects your accomplishments alongside clickable replays so you can revisit specific shots, and the whole package — bright, accessible, designed to be cheerful at any pace — is built to be picked up for ten minutes or six hours.
