About Poly Bridge 2
Poly Bridge 2 is the sequel to Dry Cactus' bridge-building puzzle hit, expanded across nearly every dimension the original tested. There are more levels, more building materials — including a new Spring material that adds genuine flexibility and bounce to your designs — and a fully custom-built physics engine optimised specifically for bridge simulations, where deterministic outcomes keep the competitive leaderboards meaningful for everyone.
The new physics engine guarantees that the same bridge produces the same result on every player's machine, which the developers used as a foundation for separate general and unbreaking leaderboards with submission-time verification. A First Break Indicator highlights the first piece of your bridge to fail, which makes diagnosing collapses far less guesswork, and three-way split joints open up drawbridges and hydraulic contraptions with multiple coordinated moving parts.
Around the core campaign sits a substantial creator layer. The Sandbox level designer adds new objects, customisable ramps and over twenty vehicles for testing, and you can submit finished levels to the in-game Workshop. Workshop Campaigns let creators group multiple levels into themed worlds with difficulty progression, and more than a hundred original Poly Bridge levels are bundled into that section as well. Adrian Talens returns with a full new soundtrack — thirteen new acoustic guitar tracks alongside eighteen remastered ones from the original, totalling well over an hour and a half of music — and a Twitch extension lets viewers submit bridges directly to streamers.
