Rauniot

Rauniot is an isometric, post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure rich with puzzles and classic adventure-game design, set against the detailed scenery of Northern Finland.

In 1975 a vast natural catastrophe shoved civilization past the breaking point. Riots, conflicts and wars broke out, the main continents drowned beneath rising seas, and pollution spread from collapsed nuclear plants and warheads. Few survived; children were born mutated or stillborn, and desperate survivors turned to cannibalism as food ran out. Yet some still trust one another enough to form groups that pool food, clean water, medicine, power, safety and knowledge. Aino is one of the fortunate few to belong to such a group, though that means giving everything she has to dangerous journeys and tasks.

The game spreads across more than 70 detailed scenes, with puzzles ranging from easy to hard and varied in order and approach. An informative notebook helps you keep track of the adventure, all carried by a distinctly Finnish melancholic atmosphere and Finnish voice-overs that include a North-Finland accent.
