Reflex Arena

Reflex Arena is an old-school arena shooter that updates the dizzying speed and demanding precision of a classic arena FPS with modern gaming technology. If you spent your youth gibbing friends in Quake III Arena or Unreal Tournament, this is what you have been missing. There are no chest-high walls to hide behind and no profound insights into the horrors of war, just fast, competitive first-person fun.

Indie studio Turbo Pixel, a small team of Australian industry veterans, set out to bring back the brutal purity of those golden-age shooters inside a bleeding-edge 3D engine custom-built for the latest hardware. It pairs lightning-fast twitch gameplay with smart matchmaking, group support, statistics tracking and championship ladders, plus personal servers and full LAN support so you and your friends can play lag-free.

Classic modes include free-for-all and team deathmatch, capture the flag and tense 1v1 and 2v2 duels, alongside mutators like big head and instagib. Random item drops let you personalize your character with hundreds of cosmetic upgrades, an in-game map editor lets you build and instantly test creations and upload them to the cloud, and the UI can be customized with simple Lua scripts. Full Steam Workshop integration and an in-game replay editor round out the package.
