STARDROP

STARDROP is a single-player narrative adventure played in first person. You step into the boots of Aryn Vance, a salvage and rescue operative, and with her partner John Kindley beside her, the pair set off into a tale of mystery and tension, lightened here and there by humor. STARDROP tells a sincere, heartfelt story of a starship lost long ago, the crew aboard it and one figure above all.

The narrative reaches you through conventional cut scenes and cinematic in-game moments as you go. The main campaign holds the heart of the story, but side missions let you experience more of the STARDROP universe. Exploration sits at the core, balanced with accessibility: there are puzzles and decisions about where to go next, but the flow of information always guides you, with clear objectives, and secrets for those who stray off the path.

You interact with control panels, elevators, security systems and computers where you read emails and listen to audio logs. Your All-Purpose-Design space suit comes equipped with a flashlight, an object scanner that identifies points of interest and allows zero-gravity movement, and a DataPad showing objectives, collected logs and a mini-map. The game won Best 3D Graphics in the 2017 Intel Level Up Contest.
