About Supermarket Simulator
Supermarket Simulator is a first-person sim about running a small store and growing it, deliberately or otherwise, into something larger. You start with an empty floor plan and an in-game computer for ordering stock, and the moment-to-moment loop is hands-on: unbox products in the storage room, restock shelves, fridges and freezers, scan items at the till, take cash and card payments, and try to leave customers reasonably happy with the experience.
The economy isn't static. Prices fluctuate across a real-time market, so part of the strategy is buying products when their wholesale cost dips and then setting your own retail price to thread the line between profit margin and customer churn. Local markets around town offer alternatives to the standard delivery flow if you'd rather drive out and grab the best deal directly. Online orders come in alongside foot traffic — package those yourself, deliver them in person, and pocket the fee.
The store itself is fully customisable: floor materials, wall paint, aisle layout, category signage. As profits accumulate you reinvest into expanding floor space, upgrading interiors, hiring staff and adding security against shoplifters, with cameras, alarm sensors and security guards available as you scale. Multiplayer for up to four players lets you split jobs — driving the truck, restocking, working the till, cleaning the floors — and run a much larger store than any single player would manage alone.
