The Beast Inside

The Beast Inside braids a story-driven adventure together with unnerving survival horror. In 1979, CIA cryptanalyst Adam leaves Boston for the countryside with his wife Emma, convinced a quiet woodland house is the right place to crack a military code that could shift the Cold War. His handlers doubt they can protect him out there, and the area turns out to be anything but peaceful.

In the attic Adam discovers a diary written by Nicolas Hyde, a man who lived in the same house during the 19th century. Opening it lets the nightmares of the past spill into the present, endangering both Adam and Emma. The two timelines circle each other toward an inevitable collision, and the player has to decide who can be trusted as they tangle together.

Blackstone, the forgotten domain of the Hyde line, is built with photogrammetry and 3D-scanned objects for a grounded, realistic setting. Players control both characters across their separate centuries, gather clues, solve mysteries and steer the story toward its ending, with a trusty revolver on hand for the deadliest moments and motion-capture work sharpening the scares.
