Automobilista

Automobilista is Reiza Studios' Brazilian racing simulator and the direct successor to their highly regarded Stock Car Extreme. The core licensed content covers Stock Car V8, Copa Petrobras de Marcas, Formula 3 Brasil and Mitsubishi Lancer Cup from the 2015 championships, plus an expanded roster reaching beyond Brazil.

The vehicle variety is unusually wide for a simulator: rental karts, 800-HP single seaters, drifting EvoX rallycross cars, Supertruck ramp-jumpers, Formula Vee starters, endurance prototypes for 24-hour races. The historic and modern content jumps decades of racing within a few clicks. Tracks are minutely modeled including 3D surface bumps with distinct grip properties.

Under the hood, AMS upgrades physics rates to 720Hz and input polling to 500Hz, granting high-fidelity force feedback and tire response. Old-style gearboxes demand clutch use and rev matching, modern cars require managing electronic systems, high-downforce cars create aerodynamic wake for trailing drivers, 24-hour cycles allow dusk-to-dawn endurance, and dynamic track conditions build up rubber and marbles realistically.
